More on HCICs. We reported Friday that the Health Department (ODH) and ODM finalized the Health Care Isolation Center (HCIC) packet, including materials for applying to be a HCIC. One of the requirements is a sign-off by the relevant hospital zone. ODM provided the instructions below for securing that sign-off. See the region zone map to identify your zone.

Each applicant should reach out to the following individuals from your region/zone infrastructure to coordinate your application. All individuals listed for the region/zone below (including the individual from the ODH/ODM TA team) should be included on your initial contact. Please contact your zone’s state TA contact with questions about the HCIC requirements and process.

ODH list still down. ODH is working with OHCA on refinements to the list of facilities with COVID-19 cases to ensure the accuracy and clarity of the reporting. At this time, we believe the list will not be re-posted until Wednesday and it will be in a different form. Please be alert to communications from your local health department to verify the data. We do not know exactly how that will occur, but the new model likely will be for the local health departments to verify the data with providers before reporting to the state.
