Description Responsibilities: • Partners with Executive Team and Department Directors to provide leadership in the development of the vision for the facility. • Initiates and implements long range strategic planning, in concert with the Executive Team, Director Team, and Partners or Staff as needed. • Supports the ongoing development and monitoring of the strategic plan • Partners with Executive Team and Department Directors on the financial components of the long range strategic plan, ensuring financial strength and operating efficiency with growth. • Provides leadership in the succession planning process, including selection and development of high potential employees. • Helps prioritize and oversee projects involving organizational or budgetary changes • Provides direction, management and leadership for facility operations in order to achieve the organization's mission and strategy while effectively growing the organization and ensuring financial strength and operating efficiency. • Leads or assigns directed accountabilities and actions ensuring successful completion of annual objectives and goals as well as long-term strategic plans. • Continuously asses key aspects of each site with respect to capital needs, human resources, marketing, accounting and make adjustments to a site as necessary • Provides contract oversight, review and communication as required • Consistently exhibits & ensures good stewardship of the organization’s resources staff or physical assets aligned to business objectives. • Provides direct oversight and management to all departments of the facility • Communicates strategies, action plans and successes to staff • Oversees the maintenance of complete and accurate resident records required by law. • Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and payor regulations to facilitate accurate and timely documentation and billing reimbursement. • Keeps informed on licensure, certification and reimbursement issues in order to anticipate/implement necessary changes in the facility's practices and to maximize the facility's position on those issues. • Serves on Quality Assurance and other Committees to ensure compliance with Required Qualifications: Education • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university Certificates, Licenses, Registrations • Must be Licensed Nursing Home Administrator • Annual requirement for continuing education Experience • Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
