Steubenville Receptionist Named January 2018 Long-Term Care “Hero”

The state’s largest organization representing long-term care facilities has honored a Steubenville, Ohio receptionist as its January 2017 “Hero of Long-Term Care.”

Lynn Houyouse receptionist at Carriage Inn of Steubenville, Steubenville, Ohio, has been selected by the Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA) as its Hero of Long-Term Care for January 2018. OHCA honors one long-term care employee each month for their service to long-term caregivers, residents and the community.
Houyouse will be featured on the OHCA website during the month of January, and will be recognized at the Association’s 2018 Annual Convention in Columbus, Ohio.

Andrea Taylor, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator at Carriage Inn, says that Ferry is passionate about serving the facility’s residents and the community.

"Lynn has been the smiling face that greets the guests at Carriage Inn of Steubenville for 18 years," said Taylor. "She is a wonderful asset to our team ad residents."  

With her extensive experience at Carriage Inn, Houyouse has become the face of the facility in the community. 

"She is the friendly voice for Carriage Inn when friends and families call, and brings a smiling face to those who need it," Taylor continued. "Lynn makes a point to find out who the staff on duty are while she is working, so she can tell guests or callers the name of their loved one's caregivers that day!"

In addition to her work at the facility, Houyouse is a home interior decorator, and active in her church activities.

"Lynn is an asset to our team at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville, and demonstrates our values of gratitude, leadership, compassion and respect in her daily work," says Taylor. "Lynn Houyouse is truly our Hero of Long Term Care!"

For 30 years, Carriage Inn of Steubenville has delivered care and service in the tri-state area.
