Therapy and the Role of the MDS in Payment Reform, Quality, and Survey

Level: Intermediate

Key areas of regulatory change in 2018 are focused on MDS accuracy including Quality Measures, Quality Reporting Programs, Value Based Purchasing, Survey Readiness and potential PPS Reform within the Resident Classification System, Version-I (RCS-I). This session will provide an overview of regulatory requirements in addition to guidance on best practices for collaboration between therapy and nursing teams.
