This session will address a wide range of human resources legal issues ranging from A to Z – “Ambush Elections” to “Zero Tolerance Policies.” The speakers – consisting of an outside labor and employment attorney and the Chief Legal Officer for a large post-acute organization – will review important developments and issues in the human resources and labor and employment law. The interactive session will include discussion of recent case law; consideration of the impact of a new political climate; changes in labor and employment laws; detailed (and humorous) case studies; and discussion of best practices.
