Hot Topics for Human Resources

The Association's panel of human resources experts will lead discussion on up-to-date information on current topics impacting human resources management and operations. Major changes in the Labor Relations Board under President Trump's Administration will be discussed. Workforce issues including recruitment, development and retention will be a major topic during the session. The recent focus on sexual harassment will be addressed, and additional areas of discussion will include FMLA, employee records, unions and collective bargaining, labor relations, social media, workplace violence, sick leave, paid time off (PTO), and a variety of other issues of interest to human resources professionals and other managers. Attendees will be provided the opportunity to discuss their issues with members of the Association’s Human Resources Committee; current topics of interest to participants will drive this session.
