Description POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for all aspects of residential programming, Adult Day Programming and Enclave including safety, service quality and regulatory compliance. Contribute to short and long range planning for Residential Services and Abilities First as a whole as an engaged member of the Executive and Leadership Teams. Ensure consistent implementation of agency policy to fulfill the objectives and mission of Abilities First. Model the organizational values of customer focus, continuous improvement, integrity, compassion, transparency and accountability ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Function as the Administrator of the ICF/IID facilities operated by Abilities First. 2. Supervise, support and provide leadership to all Residential Services staff in order to meet each resident’s support needs including, as applicable, behavioral supports, management of the individual’s funds, medication administration/delegated nursing and Active Treatment. 3. Oversee facilities MUI/UI reporting and investigation and review process. 4. Oversee the facilities admissions and discharge process. 5. Participate in training as necessary to maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements affecting all areas of responsibility. These include but are not limited to Resident Assessments (IAF and Level of Care), Direct Billing Compliance and Person Centered Planning and Employment First initiatives. 6. Oversee preparation for compliance reviews as well as the development and implementation of plans of correction as applicable. Establish and maintain monitoring to assure on-going regulatory compliance. 7. Develop budgets and performance goals for Adult Services in support of Abilities First overall strategic plan. 8. Facilitate the coordination of residential programming with other services offered by Abilities First for the benefit of all individuals served. 9. Assist in the preparation of the ICF/IID Cost Report and any other billing functions. 10. Collect and analyze performance data and prepare reports as needed or requested by the President, funders, etc. 11. Develop and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders, focusing on exceeding customer expectations of the services provided. 12. Lead and/or participate in meetings, committees and agency events to promote continuous improvement and Abilities First community image. 13. Ensure ongoing staff development through education, experience and training. Attend seminars and conferences for professional growth and present this information when appropriate. 14. Ensure safety standards are met and department representative actively participates in the Safety Committee. Assists in accident investigation as needed and follows through and monitors recommended corrective actions. 15. Perform all other duties deemed necessary by the President.. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:FORMAL EDUCATION/TRAINING Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or at least four years experience as a supervisor/manager of programs or services for individuals with developmental disabilities. CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION AND/OR LICENSURE • Certification as a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional. • Must obtain: DODD Level of Care Certified Evaluator and IAF assessor credentialing. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum of five years experience with individuals with developmental disabilities that includes at least one year as a QIDP and at least two years in a supervisory/management role. Lifting up to forty (40) pounds unassisted. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Available to work flexible hours as needed.
