Advancing Excellence
Long Term Care Leaders from 28 organizations – including OHCA – converged on Dallas this week to celebrate the coalition’s accomplishments with 7,150 homes participating in the Advancing Excellence campaign. This represents 45% of all skilled nursing facilities in the country; 22 states have 50% or greater participation. Nearly 70% of OHCA members have joined the campaign. Advancing Excellence offers free evidenced based practical advice on pressure ulcer prevention and reduction, pain management, restraint reduction and staff empowerment and retention.
