OHCA Members Receive AHCA Step II Quality Awards
OHCA is proud to recognize two member facilities for successfully completing Step II of the AHCA Quality Award Program:
  • Alois Alzheimer Center, Cincinnati
  • Altercare of Bucyrus Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing Care

These facilities earlier received the Step I Award in the ongoing Quality Award process. The AHCA/NCAL Quality Award is designed according to criteria from the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, which is the nation’s premier recognition for quality achievement. AHCA/NCAL’s award recognizes the commitment to a continuous quality improvement process at nursing facilities, assisted living residences, and residences for persons with mental retardation or developmental disabilities. Recipient facilities have made quality outcomes and customer satisfaction top priorities. The Alois and Altercare facilities will be honored during special ceremonies at AHCA 59th Annual Convention, October 5 – 8 in Nashville, Tennessee.
