OHCA to Send Instructors for INTERACT Training
INTERACT is an evidence-based package of clinical, educational, and communication tools is designed for nursing facilities to use to reduce potentially avoidable hospital admissions. Three individuals representing OHCA have been selected to participate in the INTERACT Institute being held at the Florida Atlantic University campus in January. The Institute is a key component of a grant from The Commonwealth Fund to disseminate the INTERACT quality improvement program by training certified “INTERACT Educators” who will be tasked with providing education and mentorship in the effective implementation of the INTERACT program to nursing facilities. Lisa Hohlbein, LeaderStat; Casey King, Levering Management; and Debra Kriner, d. kriner & associates were accepted into the program and will provide training through EFOHCA in 2013.
