National Nursing Home Quality Care Collaborative
Ohio KePRO and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) are sponsoring the national Nursing Home Quality Care Collaborative as a new opportunity to work together to improve quality of care for nursing facility residents. In “Phase 2” of the quality improvement effort the Collaborative and its partners will seek to ensure that every resident receives the highest quality of care. Specifically, the Collaborative will strive to instill quality and performance improvement practices, eliminate HACs, and dramatically improve resident satisfaction. The partnership will center around topics including clinical conditions, quality improvement, staffing and leadership practices. Additional information is available at Quality Care Collaborative.
