OHCA President Coury Establishes Quality Commission

OHCA President Michael Coury has formed a new “Quality Commission” within the Association to provide education, promote and coordinate the various quality initiatives and programs from the state, federal government, AHCA and other agencies. The Commission will be chaired by Shane Craycraft, Garden Manor, Middletown, and is open to all OHCA/OCAL/OCDD members. The Commission has been charged with reviewing and educating members on all information available in both customer satisfaction and quality through AHCA initiatives, Ohio's Quality Incentive initiatives, satisfaction surveys and any future federal or state quality initiatives; reviewing and responding to member needs in understanding the existing initiatives; understanding the purpose and use of the various existing quality tools; and developing concepts for promoting quality in Ohio’s facilities, among other goals.
