Deadline Approaching for Quality Incentive Payments
Nursing facilities have until Thursday, May 31, to submit data on the online quality measures questionnaire used for the July 1, 2012, quality payment. The data submitted will determine whether the facility qualifies for up to 10 quality points. Please do not miss this deadline, as each point has a value. Quality incentive payments will be paid to nursing facility providers for the fiscal year based on the number of quality points the nursing facility is awarded. To facilitate the calculation of quality incentive payment, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) has developed a web-based data collection tool each provider may use. The survey must be submitted electronically by registering and going to the online survey page no later than May 31, 2012, to be considered for the state fiscal year 2013 rate-setting. The 10 quality points covered by the questionnaire are only available by completing the online survey. Full instructions are available for download here.
