County Caseworker Training Scheduled for End of May PDF Print E-mail

County Caseworker Training Scheduled for End of May
The primary objective of the Medicaid Initiative is coming closer to reality as progress continues to be made on county caseworker training. A meeting earlier this week of the Medicaid Initiative outlined the process and timeline to have comprehensive caseworker training at the Ohio Jobs and Family Services Directors Association Annual Conference held the third week of May. Nine modules are in the development phase and include important policy guidance around key issues related to all aspects of NF eligibility. In early April, these modules will be presented to OHCA and other stakeholders for quick review and turnaround. Based on final approval, various training vehicles will be developed including pre-conference webinars, live conference training, and recorded video presentations for new hire orientation and on-going caseworker training. A special thanks to Cindy Dunne from ESC Billing & Consulting for her continued efforts in moving this primary objective of county caseworker training to fruition.
