Winter Conference
Scheduled February 21 – 22
The 2012 Winter
Conference has been designed to provide information on new opportunities in
2012 that will bring about more integration of care and alignment with acute
and community based partners. This program builds upon the key themes from the
Association's 2011 Strategic Summit, and ushers in new information that
will enable providers to best prepare for a successful 2012. Greg Moody,
Director of the Governor's Office of Health Transformation will be a keynote
speaker on February 22 to discuss Medicaid Reforms in Ohio: Where We Stand
Today. Charged with modernizing Medicaid, streamlining the health and human
services organizational structure, and improving overall health system
performance, Director Moody is directly responsible for many of the changes
impacting Ohio’s long-term care providers. The Conference will present details
on federal and state initiatives, coupled with information you need to know now
to collaborate with hospitals, utilize data and understand the newly defined
Ohio IDR process. In addition, the Membership Meeting & Luncheon provides
an opportunity to hear news "hot off the press" to keep you
up-to-date in the ever changing world of long term care. This Winter Conference
is specifically designed for owners, administrators and executive leaders. OHCA
wants to assist providers in delivering exceptional care and services for many
years to come. As a special feature, a Night at the Columbus Blue Jackets to
support the OHCA Political Action Committee will be available February 21. The
program is scheduled for February 21 - 22, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza, Columbus,
Ohio. For details and registration please go to www.efohca.org.
