CAREx Exercise Leader Training Kit

This 3-DVD set will improve resident quality of life with daily, health-promoting group exercises. CAREx stands for calming and relaxing exercises, a system of slow, easy-to-follow exercises derived from basic Tai Chi and Qigong. The Exercise Leader Training DVD has been developed to assist staff working in LTC and Assisted Living to integrate CAREx exercises into existing exercise programs. These exercises can be performed while sitting or standing. Benefits include stress reduction, increased flexibility and mobility, pain management, cognitive training, and group social activity.
