CMAs and The Role of the Nurse

This DVD will look at the relationship between the role of the CMA and the role of the nurse.  It will offer the opportunity to discuss how to begin the transition to addition of the CMA while educating the nurse on delegation skills and nursing skills such as assessment of resident needs, collaboration with other health care professionals regarding resident care and coordination of optimum resident care.  It will assist you to begin the process of assuring that nursing skills will be necessary and vital when the bulk of the medication administration will be delegated to the CMA. The DVD comes with training materials, complete with pre and post test questions, which make it a useful package for staff developers to utilize for nursing staff education.  60 minutes.
