F-Tag Crosswalk to Culture Change
The Institute for Caregiver Education is aligned with the Pioneer Network, and their publications reflect this point of view. The Institute sees culture change as a foundational philosophy that underlies the desire to improve the quality of life for both residents and staff. Principles that are the basis for culture change include emphases on respect, empowerment, choice, relationships, and community.

The goal of this volume is to connect culture change to regulatory compliance. The principles and values of culture change are linked to regulations. Each F-tag is matched with several quotations relating to culture change. After each quotation, specific suggestions are listed that link the principles and values of culture change to the F-tag.  In all, 189 F-tags are linked.
