Open Call for Association Volunteers!
Each year after the swearing in of the OHCA President and Board of Directors during the Association's Annual Convention, the committees, task forces, and work groups that will serve the organization during the upcoming year are revitalized. Committees and other groups provide many opportunities for members to be involved in the Association’s activities and programs. Member involvement is the key to OHCA/OCAL/OCDD’s success over the years! In addition, active membership on a committee (participation in at least 50% of the meetings) for one year is one of the criteria for running for the OHCA Board of Directors.
All Association committees and work groups (except for the Executive Committee) are open to any interested member. We are currently soliciting volunteers who will be appointed for one-year terms on the committees. The term of the 2012-2013 Committees begins July 15, 2012 and runs through July 15, 2013.
We invite you to review the Get Involved With OHCA Form and consider any on which you would like to serve. The list includes the estimated meeting frequency for each group. In consideration of members’ time, many meetings are held by conference call, and we often solicit committee members’ input via email.
If you are interested in being on an Association Committee, please submit the form below. All committee members will receive a formal letter from the Association acknowledging their appointment after July 15.
